Tribune Files For Bankruptcy Protection: What’s The Fate Of The Los Angeles Times?
A sad day for the newspaper industry and for the people of the communities served by papers belonging to the Tribune company which filed for bankruptcy protection earlier today.
Of course, the odd thing is that even with the downturn in the economy and, for the newspapers, advertising, the Los Angeles Times, the Tribune’s trophy paper, continues to actually make a profit. Yet, it is being dragged down by the weight of the debt of the parent company which has forced layoffs and other drastic cutbacks at the paper.
What happens now is unclear. Technically, the chapter 11 filing would give the Tribune Company time and space to reorganize….But it might be for the best if the LA Times were cut loose and sold as a stand-alone entity.

I don’t usually reply to posts but I will in this case. I’ve been experiencing this very same problem with a new WordPress installation of mine. I’ve spent weeks calibrating and getting it ready when all of a sudden… I cannot delete any content. It’s a workaround that, although isn’t perfect, does the trick so thanks! I really hope this problem gets solved properly asap.

The program contained in this book is intended to be a cleansing fast - not a diet. You may loose weight on the plan, but the true purpose of the fast is to cleanse the body of accumulated toxins. My experience with this fast (one 10 day fast and one 14 day fast) has been wonderful. I have more energy, less back pain, I sleep better, wounds that would not heal for months healed on the 14 day fast, my skin grew clearer, and the list goes on. If you choose to follow the cleanse, follow the cleanse exactly. Get the book, don’t just listen to what a freind told you because details invariably get lost in translation. Do not modify the instructions in the book in any way - I can’t stress this point enough. Good luck and good health to you.

I tried some kind of herbal cleanse a few years ago and didn’t do very well. I recently decided to try another cleanse again, but this time I read Peter Glickman’s “Lose Weight, Have More Energy
